Green Boots refers to the body of Tsewang Paljor, a police-officer from Nepal. He died after reaching the summit in 1996. His body is still 300-400 m. below the summit: every climber must pass him on the way up or down. His body is well preserved and still laying there. The name "Green boots" is refering to the color of his boots.
